Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

another epic theft and recovery

last week my friends bike shop (fixed and free bike shop) was burglarized. his new cinelli vigorelli build was stolen, some wheelsets, a tieimeyer (spelled wrong?) aero track frameset, a crooks and castle gangsta cruiser, a trike, etc., etc.... anyhow, a police report was filed and all that good stuff. homie figured it would be better not to mention it on local blogs and craigslist in case the thief was that stupid...

he was. a couple of days later, the d-bag put all the stuff on craigslist (locally, no less!). a truckload of emos and a police cruiser later...full recovery! hell yeah!
