feetbelts ripoff

I just want to put the word out that I got scammed by feetbelts, and they stole my money. Apparently they are out of business, since their domain has been reclaimed by the owner, and emails to feetbelts@feetbelts.com get bounced. But just in case any of you want to buy a pair of these off their Myspace page, or they start up again, I'm warning you that they are not to be trusted.
I'll retract the statement when I get a refund from them.

EDIT: after contacting one of the dudes on facebook, he offered me a refund. I'll see how that goes, since this is the second time it's happened.

i hope you get your money back...

for those interested in feetbelts, the power grip fixies attach to the pedal just like the feetbelt do, but are made out of the traditional power grip material.

so i got my refund. i think there are some organization issues with that company, but in the end they came through with my refund. seems like international shipping is a problem, too, based on what I got from google trying to track down the owners after their domain went down. but if you're just in the US or Canada, you should probably be alright.
