I'd say that they're moustache bars. BTW: Nice looking bike

I was thinking that too but they don't seem to have as much forward reach or have grip areas that are parallel to one another like more traditional moustache bars.

They look like high rise DH bars, put in backwards and facing upwards. Which have then then been bent to make the sweep back you see there.

A Tiki Bar, half cruiser or more like a mild hi-rise, half Mustache. Those MIGHT be 31.8. I have a set here somewhere intended for a com. type that's 25.4.. Had another made by 3T,26.0. A Euro/ cruis. type as I recall it being named. See them on e-bay from time too time. Lots one month then non. I used a set opp. of those, upside down, a nice angle, " better than flats".
Gee, I'll try'em that way next time, I guess I used 'em ... backwards.

The ones in that pic are most likely 31.8. Origin 8 makes a tiki bar but they look like traditional moustache bars with the larger forward sweep and parallel grip areas. Even though I know that's not what's in the pic, the Velo Orange Porteur bars are the closest things I've found thus far.

I know what you meen. I just checked e-bay again. This time I half remembered a store, poked around and the store's name is ..abaxo. Dif. ones ranging from $10 up, Al. ones. The point is that the pics. are deceiving, Opt. Illssions, even dif pics., angles of the same item see different. There are more than one model. Hey, I could be wrong but bars in the past in general don't look exact. Anyway, not in the auctions but by store. If you look at handlebars, you get the store names, ck. store inventories. Dozens of stores have them. They cost more two years ago than now. Don't see the 3T though. Good Luck....
COOL BIKE !

Thanks. I've bought stuff from abaxo before. I still have them saved as a favorite and will check them out now. I know what you mean about pics of bars being deceiving!

What's even funnier (read: dumber) is that I just pulled a set of brand new Soma Sparrows out of my closet that I literally forgot I had and the bend/reach is nearly identical to those bars in the pic I posted. My wife is laughing her ass off at me as I type this, as she was the one who bought them for me a while back.

Uhhh......problem solved!

I'm a lot more interested in the fork/light and the invisible chain, invisible brake levers, cables, and calipers, invisible shifter (that appears to be an IGH), and the invisible pedals.

Those bars might be the metropolis ones mentioned. Naked bikes makes their own bars in many situations. Those could be a one-off bar made by them as well

What's the story behind that bike? I remember a thread about it a while back but don't remember the specifics.

I know they're not very close to what's in the pic I originally posted but I picked up a set of VO Porteur bars and they're doing the job quite nicely (and look rad). Velo Orange is awesome.

Is there a narrow version of these or any type of bars like these? Anything less than 50cm?
