Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Noobs who make new threads 247 about kilo tts and windors, etc.

If youre new to this forum. Do not post a single thread until you have come to the conclusion of owning a bike. Dont ask stupid questions about kilo tt's and windsor hours when all you have to do is search. So tired of noob ass threads stating the same thing over and over again. There should be a rule that newbies cannot post until they have stalked this forum long enough to know how to ride a ****ing fg. Thank you.

So you are saying the Hour is better? By the way, why do some of you fixie guys have handlebar tape wrapped around the middle of your top tube? Is it the tape you took off the tops of your bars?

actually, it is a piece of velcro... you attach the other piece to the crotch of your pants, so when you do skids so you do'nt go flying over the bars when you try to lean really far forward..

Yeah! There should be a requirement to pass an extensive series of tests before even being allowed in here to read threads, let alone post!

No this guy's right. There's always so many ****in threads that say something along the lines of "Kilo question" Or "Kilo vs Hour". Read a little bit, do some research(Google is not that complicated).

No the OP IS an idiot newb. So are you, Mr. Nov 2009 w/78 posts. If you don't like the thread don't click on it. I've been here for 4 years...do you now how many threads have been started by stupid newbs *****ing about the same crap, as if each newb is the first person in the world to even notice that thread topics are redundant? The OP is guilty of the same thing he's complaining about..starting redundant threads. Threads about cheap bikes are the substance BFSSFG. The content is determined by what people post and thats the way it is. You are a fool if you think another thread *****ing about it will change anything. If you don't like it, read another forum, or, at least, don't open the threads you aren't interested in.

i figured a nerd like you who can even stand to post a couple thousand times would agree with me when i say that these noobs threads clutter the forum. BUT no.. You have to step onto your high horse and be all self righteous. Which leads me to believe that you were made fun of in highschool and you kicked it with squares. Just my thoughts..

What's the point of having a forum if all anyone's doing is searching, which they could do on Google or something anyway?

Haha, I just started a Windsor Hour vs Motobecane this morning.
I get what everyone is saying, and I searched the site and read all the previous threads on all of the bikes, but still had questions. Some people answered back and I went with the Motobecane. Thanks!

It's funny because searching all the time overloads the server.

Obviously, an EighthInch vs Motobecane thread is in order!

(or maybe 40 of them)
