i think the reason for the 'attacks' is that cracks don't just happen for no reason. The notion of cracking a frame in the same place twice is a result of poor build quality, manufacturing defects, or user abuse. Now i don't know the riding style of the OP, and i'm not going to call him a liar, but there is either something about his style that is causing excessive wear on the bike, or he is the unfortunate victim of lightning striking twice, so to speak, probably a combination of both.
Now thousands and thousands of pistas have been sold over the years. They have to be, by far, the most popular fixed gear in the past decade. They are like the freakin honda civic of fixed gears. That said, the fact that there have been a few instances of this problem happening, a couple times by first hand experience, a few more by hearsay, does not lead to poor build quality or hint that Bianchi is a ****ty company that should be shied away from, which is what the OP's tone is implying. So if it's a manufacturing defect, which happens to pretty much every high-output industry, then if Bianchi was a good company they would offer a solid warranty and honor it, which based on what the OP has said, is what they have done. Your bike broke, they said sorry, here's a new one. They will probably do the same thing again. Its unfortunate that this happened to you, but it's far from some sort of pattern or epidemic in Bianchi's production. It seems the problem and frustration is more that they have changed the line-up and the geometry to something that you don't like, in which case the last Pista was probably the last Bianchi you were going to buy anyway.
