Langster handlebar help needed...BAD!

So I bought an 05 Langster, and love it for commuting. It came with a flat bar and I was wanting to put drop handlebars on it, but can not find the stem size needed anywhere. Does anyone know what size it would use?
Thanks

You can measure it with a caliper, or a piece of tape for that matter if you know elementary math..

Vernier calipers are the easiest way to find out for sure. You can get a plastic set for a dollar or two and it will also measure seat posts, chainlines, etc.

if it looks a lot larger than an inch, it's 31.8. if it looks close to an inch, it's either 25.4 or 26.0. seeing how you have flat bars, maybe they are 25.4. safer to get a stem/handlebar combo as road drop bars are usually either 26.0 or 31.8.

Do you understand that he is asking for the handlebar clamp diameter, and not a photo of a bike with drop handlebars, right?

Seeing as the bars are not original, there's a good chance the stem is not either. Measure it. If its 31.8mm, it will be obvious. Some bars and stems even have the diameter printed on them, maybe inside the faceplate or on the bar clamping area. Going from flats to drops, you may want to change stem length anyway.
