If you're looking for a full-size top tube pad, I've ever seen any large enough. If you want something smaller, I've got these:

harsh, you couldn't figure out what a pad was for? Really? You needed help with that?

You had to google what/for a top tube pad?

Why didn't you just use the english language instead? I understand having to google to find a top tube pad, but all the words are there for figuring out what it is.

Tell me this, what did you do the first time you heard about chili cheese dogs? Did you get that one?

Yes. The words alone would permit one to believe that it is a pad designed and used for the top tube of a bicycle. However, it does not say anything, nor does it suggest what the pad is for. This would leave one to question, as per my original question, not where the pad goes, but what the pad does. The name 'top tube pad' does not suggest any utility of itself, just what it is. This, of course, wouldn't be so much of a mystery insomuch as if the use of a pad on the top tube was obvious; such that, all bicycles would use them if it was. Since this is not the case, the utility of the pad is a mystery.

If such an item existed, so that it was called a 'handle bar vice grip', would you not inquire what the vice grip on the handle bar was for? This argument is consistent with your own.

You fail.

So genius what does "Pad" mean and what does a "Pad" do? Do you think in this case t could indicate that the item is a pad intended for a top tube? That it might pad (verb) the top tube or protect it by padding it?

I've never heard any one use "vice grip" as a verb, that would be stupid. "Hey Jersey Boy, come over here and do some vice gripping on this thing that need to be vice gripped."

But you can have a pad, pad an object, be padded, all that.

No you are a troll or just incredibly dumb. I think troll because that's a level of dumb that would preclude the use of a keyboard.

If you were that dumb you would be far more likely to take the keyboard and bang it on the bars of the cage your mom would keep you in, or poop on it, or use it to catapult poop at others in an amazing display of tool usage, than you would to type words with it.

So you are probably a troll. Not as funny as me but still a stupid troll.

well if you used your bike for commuting places and locked it with a chain
a top tube would come in handy as the Aluminum frame can get scratched to hell with a heavy chain

I use a belt tightly wrapped around and taped with electrical tape on either side, I have no idea how it stands up functionality wise to real top tube pads but it works for me
