Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Unless you sewed it yourself it was probably made in China. Nothing is American made anymore

I have been looking for the past few months for a single speed to ride to work and back. I test rode practically every single speed for sale in Northern CO. I finally decided on Big Shot Bikes. I didn't go with this company because you can customize the colors. I went with Big Shot because it was the most comfortable bike I found for me. I am 6' 4" and weigh 245. They had the largest frame at 60cm and it just felt like it fit perfect. And their customer service is awesome. I went to their warehouse to pick the bike out. I just got one of the non customized bikes they have. Its all black and grey. After a few weeks of riding, I heard a weird popping noise coming from the rear wheel. I called them up and they said bring it to any bike shop and have them look at it. I looked at it and a few spokes were loose. I called them back and they sent me a whole new wheel and tire for the rear and let me keep the old one. I fixed the spokes and now I have a spare wheel and tire. I went in there a few days ago and looked at the other handlebars they had. They let me pick one out and gave it to me. All they said was to let them know how I liked it. I can't say anything bad about big shot bikes. I have around 1200 miles on it right now. I do longer rides, 40-50 miles, and absolutely love my bike.

Had one.

Had. Sold it. I am glad your experience with them has been good. I thought that the bike was an overpriced piece of garbage. I replaced everything on it minus the chain, seatpost and headset. That picture was halfway through the replacement, before the bottom bracket and crank were replaced.
