Stronglight cranks
Would these cranks be good for a SS/FG project?
https://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...e=STRK:MEUS:IT
The first problem I have is that my 16T FG cog is for 1/8th chain... would I have a huge problem swapping out chainrings?
It's going on an older A-D Puch bike, so I thought it might be kinda cool.

Swaping out chainrings with older stronglight cranks can be problematic, as many of them have odd BCDs (eg 122mm) and are not compatible with more modern cranks. This one has three spider arms instead of the standard five, for instance; it would be difficult to find replacement rings.
The crank in the auction is a (nice) lower-end stronglight. It requires a 23.35mm crank puller. Still made by Stein, but 30$ for the puller.
