1963 Columbia 5 speed.
1972 Columbia 3 speed. My commuter bike. Just threw out the stupid dumb steel rims and laced up some alloy Ukais. 27" wheels.
Not really mine, but while we're on a theme, a friend's Columbia 3 speed that I took these photos of.
beautiful bikes krusty, but what is that last frame?
Pretty sure that's a Corima.
Corima Puma from about 2000ish. Carbon over structural foam. Real stiff in the BB area, but comfy as heck (can you say laterally stiff but vertically compliant?)
Unfortunately I don't have a good shot of the seatpost. It's all of about 1/4" thick.
17ish lbs. It's not a lightweight by today's standards.
My principle geared ride for the last 26 years:
