Bicycle Repair Man !!!
Probably the nicest bicycle I have ever owned... there's only one like it and although it was not made for me specifically it fits like a glove.
Set up two new wheel sets as I have some custom hubs and wheels built up for road riding with the guys and set up my old wheels for pootling around town.
Gotta trim those brake cables tomorrow... just changed out my old Cinelli stem for one that was a little shorter.

Interesting thread. I figured any geared bikes ridden by the fixie kids would be crap. I definitely didn't expect to see a beautiful Bruce Gordon frame with full Super Record -- although the mountain bike pedals are...wrong.
Here are a couple of my randonneuring bikes.

This is a new Bates... the frame and (cantiflex) fork were built by Ron Cooper.

noir . Why the sad face ?
That Bianchi will make a beautiful cx / tourer... there are no compatibility issues with cantis and road brakes and with a set of bar end shifters you'll have all that shifting taken care of and none of this will cost too much.

white electrical tape
racks/fenders
lower angle stem (specifically one with the brake cable holder)
drop bars / bar tape
shifters/ drop brakes?
road style saddle
new 700c 35c tires rugged
red paint
...and my poor knowledge of bicycle repair. I have got some guide books though. Never thought old bikes could be this much fun, thats for sure!

noir - It will be a pretty easy conversion and you will end up with the satisfaction that you did this yourself and ended up with a really nice ride.
What do you need red paint and electrical tape for ?

My baby. Pending new toe straps and seat. I got it for a STEAL. The wheels were also a great deal. I have <$200 into it.

There are three more but they are at the other house. All are 70's Schwinns. Super Sport, Sport Tourer and a LeTour 3.
