Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

i put my stem on my bars when my bike was at the framebuilder. i know how the bars are supposed to look LOL. if i remarked that your levers were too low, it's because most hipster kids don't know where to put them.

I hope to one day live in a world where people realize that brake lever placement, like all other things on a bike, is subject to personal preference. \

The fact that you stated that my levers werent in the right place shows that you don't know where levers are supposed to be positioned.

Brake levers are made to be reached comfortably from two hand positions. Comfort is not universal.

drop handlebars are made to be combined with brake levers to make a smooth transition from bar to brake lever.
