Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

white japanese track frames

i THINK i've pored through the entire collection of bikes on the fixed gear gallery. and while there are not many true track bikes, these two really stand out for me. i mean, what is it about the white frame that is so damn elegant? granted, these frames would look amazing in any color---or would they?

Those really are nice. If I ever have a sweet bike that's painted white, I'm naming it Kanthaka.

No, dude, it's the white. White bikes kick so much ass.

My least favorite bike color is black and my most favorite bike color is white. Unfortunately, my road (27spd) bike a black bike. Licks balls.

The frame is sweet... but I think that white, no matter if it has grim on it or no, always looks dirty. Unless it's right out of the package and never ridden.

Ooof, that 3Rensho is a monster. How can such a simple machine sum it up so well?
