Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

the difference is the stig turned out to be one of the best F1 drivers ever and bikesnob is just some regular joe. He is a great writer, though, and I will continue to read him.

Schumacher was supposedly The Stig on that one occasion, it was supposed to be a joke.
So is he the real Stig or not?

BikeSnob, cool to know, liked not knowing too.

the stig changes from show to show. schumacher is the stig for whenever a ferrari is being driven coz he's their factory driver.

the standard stig that the bbc employs is Ben Collins, a touring car driver i believe. dunno if they'll kill white stig off, they killed black stig when he revealed himself in some autobiography.

I think he's trying to get while the gettin's good. He got a book deal and needs to hit the road to promote it in person. Nothing wrong with that.
