Good deal on a wheelset + tires/tubes/cog/lockring
Just figured I would post this to help out anyone that is looking for a cheap, decent wheelset. $99 shipped and they include tubes/tires/cog/lockring.

still, tires and tube would add about 340g to each wheel.

You are discussing weight--- but not price?! It is not a good deal if you are buying garbage. Regardless of weight--- how does this add up in terms of cost (the sum of its parts)? What is the cheapest shipping on wheels? $20? A decent set of hubs alone will cost the remaining $80 for the pair (Forumula). A decent cog and lock ring at least $20 (if not 30). A decent (as in rideable) tires are $40 -50 PLUS tubes. I seriously question these sorts of deals. We have not even discussed spokes of rims...

I had these for a while. They aren't really that bad for a start up wheel set, but i warn you, your gonna want something better later on. I do agree with the GOOD DEAL part.
Its a ready to go wheelset for 100$, not bad.
I sold my rear for $40 w/out tire and tube.

Just figured I would post it up as an alternative to the Tec9's that are now $120+. If these are heavier than the Tec9's, I'll be very surprised. I would also imagine that that Eighth Inch cog/lockring and Kenda tires are of better quality than the ones that come with the Tec9's.

Unfortunately they're both unsealed hubs. I guess it all comes down to the aesthetic preference on these. I'd personally go with the Amelia's though... They look more classy.

i'd recommend people to get the tessas. it's only 50 bucks, just skip a date and bam way better wheels

Good find and a great deal! Most fixie/SS riders, except weight weenies, could care less about weight savings...it's all about wheel strength in real urban/city riding. I ride often in S.F. and that city will chew up any light weight wheel set.

for another $100, I'd get a 1300~1400g, or there abouts rear wheel with tire, tube and rimstrip.
