Knock-off B-43's with Tubes, Tires, and Shipping for Under $100
Anybody know anything about these new knockoff Deep V's that are listed on Ebay right now? I did an internet search and found nothing. Well, they look cool, but I wonder how durable they are? Any suggestions?

Yeah, but in that case shipping would cost them at least 40 dollars. I can't imagine how they are turning a profit on these things regardless

Yeah, $25 isn't far from it. But anyways, idk, they don't have a ton of ebay credibility, but thos wheels just look like really heavy knockoffs of velocity's. Probably would work just fine if you didn't care about how much your bike weighed.

i see those all over ebay and CL but you know what they say... good things arent cheap and cheap things arent good?
i'd say just save up a little more and get something you can trust. plus a good set will be easy to sell when you change your mind.

The listing says they use tubular tires.
So there's that.
So there's that.

Maybe, but I just want to know how they hold up. I know they are cheap (in price), but that does not necessarily mean they are cheap (in quality).

Yeah something isn't adding up because the listing's title said they come with tubes and tires. If they came with sew-ups I think they would have included that in the description. A very cheap pair of sew-ups will run around $40 dollars a pair.

I guess if the wheels really run sew-ups they have the potential to be lighter than real B-43? Maybe? Come on, surely somebody here has bought a pair of these?

for a beater set, clinchers seem easier to maintain in terms of flat repairs. while tubulars, like everyone says, seems like a headache.
-1 for unknown wheel quality
-1 for tubular maintainence (mounting/gluing, repairs)
-1 tubular tires costing more than clinchers (vittoria zaffiros can be had for less than $15/each and are very reliable)
i don't know man, its your cash!

Why do they come with a freewheel when they don't have a braking surface? Why do they claim to be tubular and say they come with tires and tubes? These wheels make no sense.

Seems like this guy is pimping his own eBay store, looking at the "redirectingat.com" URL he used to link with, too...
edit: looks like BF does this redirectingat.com thing themselves, my bad - sorry OP!

I'm thinking the it's a misprint and they're actually clinchers, not tubular. With all the cheaper knockoffs out there these days like these Tec9's, the Eighthinch Julian, Vuelta Super Deep-V, etc... who knows how they compare to each other?

OP: Did the price change? Looks to me the item + shipping is roughly $125 (not $100). Just asking because these look super tempting for my SS beater.

it looks to me more like the person assumed tubular meant badass instead of what it really means.
