Saw Lance last night...

True story - I was at Quince, a great new-ish restaurant in SF and sure enough Lance Armstrong was having dinner with Robin Williams (yes, the comedian) and 3 other people. I was surprised how short he was (I'd guess 5'8"/5'9" ?) and moreso, how lean he was.

just thought I'd share.

Um, how could you be surprised at how lean he was? Look at his profession..

I've read Robin is an avid cyclist, yes i hate that phrase. He owns like 1000 bikes, most of which we could never afford. As for lance being skinny, anyone who rides as much as he does surely doesnt have a weight problem.

Kind of neat though. You should stalk them.

Robin Williams lives in SF. Lance is probably here for the T-Mobile International, but that doesn't take place until Sept. 12th. He's kind of early. Anyone else plan on going to the T-Mobile?

There is a chance that the race may be cancelled because the promotors have not paid the City for the extra police. The event last year was nearly cancelled in the last days before the then mayor, (Slick) Willie Brown, foregave the liability. There's less than two week and there's no confirmation that the race is on.

Yeah, most endurance athletes are like 6ft 4 and 200lbs, right? So Lance must defintely have an eating disorder or be on drugs. I bet he was out the back throwing that ____ up when everyone had their back turned.

Anyway, why am i replying to this post? I haven't even had breakfast yet! Go post this in the roadie board so everyone can go *fap fap fap* over it.

I saw books at the bookstore tonight. I even bought one. I will probably read it. When I am finished, I will more than likely read something else.

I get all my books on the abridged CD version. Then I listen to them really loud on my portable CD player while riding in heavy traffic.

Yeah, apparently Robin Williams is an endurance athlete freak. He runs marathons, and does centuries, and stuff. My cousin guides snowboarders in Tahoe and he has done it for Robin a few times. He says he acts just like in the movies, crazy and drug-addled
