Not taking the p--s. I've been to three nearby places - two only had alum, which seems to be recommended against, and the other one only had the longer ones. Maybe I've just lucked out, but I was starting to think they were just difficult to come across. Online, the freight has been more expensive than the actual bolts. Guess I'll just try another shop.
Cheers.
Cheers.
So i you can't find them in a shop, try shopping on the net within Oz, or out of a lower cost country. You might try Phil's Bike in South Korea. He has a larg diversity of products, and the rates from there shouldn't be as high as from here. Also consider getting together with someone buying something sizeable where your chainring bolts wouldn't increase the postage on the deal.

Understand that the way postal rates work these days, the lowest cost or a small packet (2oz.) leaving the USA for overseas is over $6.00. If it weights 3oz. the rate jumps to $9.00. Rates out of other countries are much less, as I'm sure rates within Oz are.

BTW- if it's just a quetion of needing the bolts, ind some trendy kid riding a fixie and ask where he shops. OTOH- if it's that you have five bolts but they keep loosening, post here and I or someone else will advise on the cause and fix which probably doesn't involve replacing bolts.

A lot of bike polo dudes hang out there; it's a pretty hip scene.
Regarding chainring bolts (or rather, the nuts), even the best tools kinda suck, because the traditional chainring nut just plain sucks, even if knurled. SRAM/Truvative (and some aftermarket) ones are miles better, with a 6mm hex FTW.
Also, check out this joint, also in Brunswick: https://www.thebikeshed.org.au/

Hi Guys,
I came across this thread and I have a question on my Campy Record 1997 cranks 9 speed system. I have the chainring bolts but where do you get the bolt that goes into the crank arm ??
I am going to look online and it also has a spacer in between as well. I did use a bolt on there now that's working but I don't feel I have the correct size.
What company sells the ones I need, not having luck for this old bike equipment
I came across this stuff but I am not sure about the diameter of my set up. I have a FSA chainring on the front now
