Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

State Bicycle

I couldn't find a thread on this company that i stumbled upon. I'm looking for a solid commuter bike to get around campus, run to the store etc. They look legit, have a cromoly frame and supposedly use unbranded decent components. If this isn't a good deal what else should I look into. I've already heard of everything else on BD and I'm willing to spend up to 450. I'm located in NY if anyone has a sweet bike that they're trying to get rid of.
Here's the link BTW https://www.statebicycle.com/category_s/3.htm
Thanks for the help.

Just another company trying to cash in on the fixed gear trend.
Pretty sad when the only brand names on the specs are the pedals and chain.
