Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Afternoon Ride

Discovered https://ridewithgps.com/ through the Tandem forum the other day and have been having some fun with it. Here's the ride I got in this afternoon on the trusty Kilo WT in between rain showers:

The gravel section was a little soft from the rain we've gotten over the previous day but not too bad except for right at the end of the main climb. Real nice downhill/downwind run back to the car at the end. Always fun to be cruising along at 19-20mph pretty effortlessly. Would have taken some picture to include but I left my phone back at the house. The clouds hanging low on the mountains were cool.
