What is the Smallest tooth count for a free wheel? Like for a BMX?
Can i get some help? Cause i have a fixie BMX and now i want to put on a new rim with SS but i used to have 24/9 but i dont have that hub anymore.

it gets smaller if you have a proprietary BMX hub for a BMX bike, but i'm ASSUMING you don't or you would be in the BMX forum... right?

Google search popped out a thread from a couple years ago. 15 tooth is the smallest thread-on freewheel you can get. If anybody says anything smaller, they're thinking of a BMX driver, not a freewheel. Here it is:

For an English, 16tooth is about as small as you're gonna get. I'd suggest staying from the ACS freewheels, unless you don't mind having to lube the thing before you use it.
AC Racing makes 15tooth freewheel that fits regular English threaded hubs, but I've not heard good things about their reliability.
