Miche Track Cog carrier system?
yes i searched, what i want to know is how people feel about them today as most of the posts on this topic were around 2-5 years ago... I ran into them and the price was good and wanted to know if its worthwhile or are some of the issues of the past still an issue today?
Also these will not be going on Miche hubs, they will be going on some formula hubs...

I've been using it for over a year and a half with NO problems at all Changing cogs is much easier and ends up being a bit cheaper. I'd definitely recommend it. It'll work on any hub.

I have been running one for a little over a year now on a Miche hub with no complaints. Keep in mind that 18 is the largest cog they make for this set up. I've swapped between a 17 and 18 about 2 or 3 times. Much easier than having to undo a tightened on cog.

the last reviews i read when i searched talked about slop developing and wear between the cog and the carrier...

I have 3 years using the Miche system and no slop or lockring loosening. I do some backpedaling, but I don't do a lot of skidding or forceful backpedaling. However, if I did, I probably would use a regular thread-on cog or bolt-on cog. There is a very tiny amount of play between the cog and the carrier, which could slowly loosen the lockring over time.

To add to what I've previously said,
I've been running over 80gi brakeless the whole time I've been using it. Skidding, backpedalling, etc...
The only time I've EVER tightened it was when I changed a cog. I didn't really even need to tighten it, but I did it just to make sure everything was in check.
Thats the last bit of feedback I can offer. Obviously you aren't easily convinced.
