What do you guys think about this fix gear?

Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

What do you guys think about this fix gear?

My sister has a Micargi beach cruiser thats still going strong. ( she had it for like 10 years). But this bike looks ridiculous unless its like $99.

Looks like a re-branded Torker U-District (except U-District has chromo frame).

Basically everything I don't want in a bike, on a bike.

Wait, maybe that crankset...depending on the alloy.

assuming it's properly assembled, i see nothing wrong with that bike. just know that it'll be a little on the heavy side, and it comes with zero street cred.

I'd watch out, when I click "Honor" under their About Us section it pops up a message that says "Have Not Any Information!". Sounds like these guys don't have any sense of honor, and therefore will give you no street cred.

Hmm, being a badass does give you street cred... assuming you ride that hi-ten steel frame brakeless it might be a good deal.

I picked up my '09 SE Draft at Performance Bikes for under $250 w/ tax...

Edit: But that's because I already had my Weinmanns to make it into a fixie.
And I got it on a sale on top of a 10% off "gift card" they snail mailed me...

Edit #2: PS just looked on Performance's website and the Draft lite (which comes with a fixed/free flip flop rear wheel) is $199.99. From what I was told it's a few pounds lighter than the Draft...and low inventory. Hope you can pick it up now....
