Seat post angle on beach cruisers
What are the pros and cons of having the seat post farther back on one model verses having it
higher up over the bottom bracket?
Thanks,
Rich

If the seat post is angled far back, like on an electra townie, most people can put their feet on the ground while sitting on the seat. That's more comfortable for many novice riders, older people, etc.
The cons include it being more difficult to stand up on the pedals, and having most of your weight on the back wheel, instead of spread evenly between the two.
