Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? I have wanted a pair for running for over a year but haven't found the extra cash while cleaning out the couch yet. Do you wear them on the bike as well? If so, with or without clips and straps?

Have these, great for stuff like hiking, walking, playing on grass/dirt/water etc. Not so good for climbing, not so good for running on concrete/cement. No cushion so it hurts. Also, sucks to ride your bike with them; the pedals press into your fee, especially if you're using clipless pedals. No stiffness at all, very inefficient for biking.

But love them all the same. Do not order any without trying them on first, sizes are wonky.

I like my KSOs but I wouldn't ride a bike in them, or walk long distances on concrete. Running is great. I like having stiff-soled shoes, or clipless shoes for cycling.

I have a friend who long boards in them and swears by them....I didn't find them comfortable at all but the store I was in didn't have my size....I still think I'd rather have a set of slip on Vans

on the bmx its alright, since i have those nice big platforms to distribute weight although bunnyhops hurt your feet.
on the fixie with the clipless pedals hurts like **** not recommended

but they're super fun to wear around and you get weird looks from people alot its great. had a couple people at work ask me what the heck i was wearing
