Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Bone Machine, might be time to look into pet insurance. Think it's like $30 a month? Might be different depending on location/type of pet

I'm the one with the torch. I've already caught hell from my friends for not having my safety glasses on.

Right now you should concentrate on learning how to keep the air in your tires.

The builder I am apprenticing with does not wear safety glasses when he is brazing... it seems to be a personal preference for many frame builders who build lugged and filet brazed frames as you are not exposed to the spatter and intense light you get when you use arc welding equipment.

I have a red hoodie.

Yay, Annie makes another come back!

Too bad she doesn't get along with the cat you are trying to rescue but at least you made a little cooler shelter for it.

I captured her this morning and took her to a no kill shelter. I did give Annie and her a try and no good. Annie just doesn't get on with other cats, or most dogs (She adores my Aunt's Golden Retriever though......go figure! They get along like best buds.)

I also donated enough to the shelter to feed double their cat population for a month. It's the least I can do, and I'm setting up a monthly donation to them, as well, automatically.

Yes, I have turned into a sappy cat person.
