Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Eighth In Coupon

Eighth Inch is doing a thing on facebook where if a certain number of people "like" their facebook page then everyone of their "likers" get a coupon depending on how many people do it. Like if they get 3,500 fans then they all get a $30 off coupon plus a chance to win a bike.

So, everyone who is on facebook go and like them, I mean, what do you have to lose.

Scrod, you should sticky this so more people see it and participate...

Nice! Im glad someone else is already following them. Im gonna make an order once the coupon comes out. I wonder what the minimum order price is going to be.

You have to "like" eighthinch before the 20th in order to be able to receive the discount and or the chance to win something.

I need to start figuring out what I might want to buy. I just saw that you only get 7 days to redeem the coupon once it's issued!

Not really needing anything right now but I may get their gift set that's on sale. For forty-nine cents more than the wrench you also get a glass and a shirt. I'm down for free pointless eight inch stuff haha

Facebook

Where you list your:
- home address
- work address
- phone number(s)
- email address(es)
- friends
- how you know these friends
- co-workers
- family

Where you document your:
- education
- significant other
- relationship status
- outings
- favorite places
- photos (and tag them for easy identification)
- conversations
- likes and dislikes
- etc...
- and most recently YOUR CURRENT REAL-TIME LOCATION.

People willingly give up ALL of this information for the privilege of watching other people...not realizing that they themselves are being watch by someone/something unknown to them.

Don't you guys think that's a bit much to ask?
