citygrounds.com has them for 30$ USD

Wait, those are in pairs.

TejanoTrackie 08-23-10 08:05 PM

It says free postage to the USA, but is it free postage to Canada? Remember, they're shipping from the UK.

Yeah I've ordered some Michellin Pro Race 3 tyres from them before. They were about $60 CDN a pair. They have a coupon (can10) that I think gives you the free shipping and 10% off the order.

Figures this would come up day after I order some Panaracer Pasela TG for more $

PBK is always 10% off and free shipping to Canada, don't need no coupon for that.

whats does the folding mean for gatorskins?

seejohnbike 08-24-10 11:44 PM

same thing it means for any tires: it has a kevlar bead, as opposed to a wire one, allowing for the tire to be folded up, but not mess up the bead.

I see, what advantages do you have over a tire that cannot be folded? It makes sense, but at the same time it doesn't.

You can tansport it with you in a bag so if your tire pops on the road you can change it there. A non folding tire isn't very portable.

That's actually very interesting lol.

Also light than a regular steel bead tire.
