Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

You pretty much have to be on the site constantly to get anything good.

The pedals will probably come back up, none of them sold, out of 38 pairs.

I've had 100% success rate at calling backcountry when I missed an item and having it added to an order. There's actually sites that track their deals and if there was 3-4 items I wanted I'd call up and get them all

It's hard to make a large profit off chainlove items. They are priced that way for a reason.

Posted this in another thread... But, Performance Bike members get triple points back this weekend. Worth getting a membership if you buy a bike with it.

Those caps have been at my LBS for some 2 years now...

That cap better not say "www.bikesdirect.com" on the reverse.

When it hits around 179.99 for frame/fork, that's the time to jump on it.

As soon as Leader announced they were discontinuing the 722TS, CityGrounds bought up all remaining stock. I'm sure they've got quite a few left.

I've fallen in love with steel recently.

You bet; the 722 is on the heavier side but still a great frame. 7 in 10 cyclist and hipsters agree that steel is real.

Nothing beats custom handmade. I've been lusting over a broakland pipebomb for so long now. You're from the area and I'm sure you can relate to my inner feelings.
