I've been watching a small clothing manufacturer in Toronto named Two Circles Cycling. They have has some pretty good sale prices right now. Not mind blowing deals but $63 isn't bad for a jersey nowadays, especially if you are looking for something different, a jersey that no one else will be wearing.

Random but I actually enjoy going through the defeet/ sockguy factory 2nds at performance; you'll never know what you find. I once even found a pair that was originally made for my buddy's team order.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my factory seconds from performance. No noticeable defect or issue.

Wow, those are killer prices. I wonder if there's any sacrifice in QC, customer service, etc., when buying direct.

Shows how much of a markup there is, overhead for fuel for shipping, warehousing and logistics, etc.

Thomson's main business is aerospace parts. They only started making bike parts as a way to use spare manufacturing capacity when the aerospace business was slow. Quality control on the parts themselves should not be a problem.

I'm so glad they are selling direct now. Their stem for example, was $79 from the UK distributors but I could not find it for less than $99 from any US distributor. Six months later it still bother's me that a part which went to the UK and back was $20 less than a part which was manufactured three hours from my house and never went overseas. It's not a patriotic thing - I just don't understand how it is possible.

Dammit, I'm day late & a dollar short as usual. Been wanting a Masterpiece but those really great prices are now kaput and they've gone back to their usual high prices at which they've been selling bits directly from their webstore for awhile :rolleyes:

Best price I'd found so far for a Masterpiece speced like I want was about $120 (which is why I never pulled the trigger) so I'm really bummed that I missed out...

Keep your eye on the Bicycle Recyclery site. I got a brand new, never installed Masterpiece from them for $69. It was still in the fabric bag and had the torque spec stickers on it.

They have a used 31.6mm with 16mm setback right now for $34.99. It has been cut though.
