Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Barebone essentials but definitely one of my all time favorite tools. In fact, this was my first multitool ages ago in one of its iterations.

If you want a red one aside, Performance has this guy which is essentially the same thing but silver for $9.99 everyday. Often going on sale for ~$5/$6/$7 and/or give or take the 10% happy hour discount on Tuesdays in store.

Not too long ago when Soma's new version of the Rush got mentioned here, there was some regret expressed over them moving on from the old chrome model. If you are either short or tall, and really want one of those - Velomine is offering a helluva deal...

Western Bike Works has what looks like a pretty good sale on lights today.

Some very good prices, especially for Light & Motion products.

Saw this. Anything I want is already gone in my size.

Wonder if that 50 percent off will work on the wind vest....

Hey, I meant to come back and thank you for this post. I'm really short and I got the 49cm. It was the last one. Currently in build mode. I can't wait.

That was a righteous deal and I'm glad someone scored from Sam's post.

Light & Motion has released a new Urban 1000 light and dropped the prices on their 800 lumen and lower Urban lights.

REI is having a nice sale on top of the price drop.

As an example, I paid $127 for the Urban 800 back in the day and it is now $75.

Me too, it's a great light!

But whatever you do after running it, do not store it immediately upon lock up. The metal body, which doubles as a heatsink, gets really HOT.
Waterproof gusset meltingly so.

A little late to the party here, but how'd the build turn out? I got one of the 61cm frames on that same deal, and I'm really happy with it.
