You're welcome, I just saved you from an impulse purchase of questionable necessity. Not that I feel bad about a carbon Alpha Q TS for $120.
wheelandsprocket is now giving me a second chance offer on an Alpha Q GS 10 for $80. Should I get it? I have absolutely no need for it, as this is too nice a fork to install on my campus computer.
I dunno, do you have any intention of building up a lightweight road/racing bike in the near future?
It's certainly a pretty great fork for a price you're not gonna beat, but if all you've got is a sweet fixie and a mountain bike it's probably a waste of money.
If someone offered me a bottle of Blue Label for $80 I'd probably turn them down, even though it's a great deal, because I don't drink scotch.
It's like that.
Truth. I'm waiting to see if they'll send me any more second chance things. I actually wanted the set of TT brake levers.
What's interesting is that the original fork up for bid sold for $116ish, but they're selling them second chance for $80.
There isn't much profit margin. Wheelandsprocket is also selling it BIN for $120.

any cheap straps around, double or single?
get some wabi doubles, they aren't that expensive, and mine havent stretched in the 2 months ive had them, pretty much everyday brakeless riding. Plus wabi has awesome customer service
I wouldn't get those christophe straps... super cheap.. I recommend Wabis as well!
I wish they have Mark V Pro in stock or $250 for Mark V, that'd be nice.
