I think I'd rather just pick up that Sputnick fully built for $210 more than that Speciale.
uhhh...yeah. no regrets on the sputnik baby.

This doesn't quite seem like the place for this post, but I don't want to start a new thread.

I'm thinking about dropping $280 shipped to AUS (like $265 Aussie dollars) on a set of B43s from Bells Bike Shop on fleabay. Despite the hate for the wheel, am I looking at a decent deal? Down here, these would cost me like $450 (Aussie), so I'm saving money already, but if I can get 'em cheaper again, I'd love to save even more.

I have no idea what the shipping differences would be for AUS from site to site... but velomine sells them with formula hubs for $200-$220. I went to Bells just now to see which ones you were talking about for $280 and I don't see any at that price-point

Really? That was for 2 tires. The best I see on amazon is 36.45 for one tire, and that's in the 23c width too, not 25c

Need a good, inexpensive wheelset for my fixie project - would love it if it came with tires, hubs, and possibly a large cog (running 52 tooth chainring) - where the deals at?!?
