Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I'm pretty sure that's a typo, as I totally ignored the description and bought one and because a 44T chainring is nothing.

FWIW, I tried buying one at another outlet, and they lied about it being in stock so beware.
went back to add this to my cart, now it's $630 with the coupon, they reset their store price to the msrp I guess. shucks

That's still a very good price. Anywhere else it's close to $800. MSRP is $899. If they had my size, I'd get it.

Meh. That's the old V2 with too long chainstays, seatstays too low on seatube, no steel reinforcement plates on insides of dropouts etc. Save up your pennies and get the new V3.

Ahh, okay. I thought I remembered hearing some iffy things about the V2. Good to know, thanks TT.

The V2 does have double-sided dropout plates but another big issue is they had a lot of crankset/chainring clearance issues.

But yeah, the 2011 725 is the way to go.

If I remember earlier someone stated that the artist interpretation of the LED are far more dramatized than in real life, is that the general consensus?
