Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

for realz: in general, the forum isn't opposed to answering 'this vs that' kinda questions, but you have to demonstrate that you have pondered the question more than it took you to type it.

What do you think you like about each?
What kind of riding do you plan on doing?
How many miles will you ride?
Based on what you see, what do you think you will upgrade right away?
Anything odd about your size, commute, goals for the bike, etc?

See there is a way to help this person get advice, without being mean.

Via Brera's unicrown fork is such a turnoff. Get a origin8/pake chrome fork for it, and you are good to go.

Why when he can just crowd-source and get his answers. I mean, he already spent about a minute registering. What else do you want from him?!

Did someone lose skin off his nose because the op didn't use the search function?

If you find the subject beneath you, why not just ignore it?

That said, how about a link to the Bianchi whatchamacallit?

Guys...which do I like better, roast beef sandwiches or fish tacos?

OP - They're both totally different bikes. If you're picking these two to choose between, tell us why you've chosen them and we may be able to offer a little more help.
