Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Now isn't going green make everyone less angry and more happy

Now imagine it was a car instead of a bike...everyone would be suing everyone.

It's been reposted at least 50 billion times over the last couple of days in several sub-forums on here...as well as here.

Also, he's got brakes, look at his handlebars, STI shifters...

I see brake cables. Unless those are brifters, in which case he's riding a geared, freewheeled bike with no brakes, which is beyond stupid.

Actually it doesn't cancel out. The cyclist has 2 fails, riding in the wrong direction and riding carelessly with a video camera.

Isn't that New York?

Nowhere in the US are you required to wear a helmet over the age of 18(or younger).

1- It's Philadelphia, not New York.
2- He's riding a geared road bike with brakes.
3- It was funny.

Whatev. ^ I never thought he was brakeless. I like how a messenger pops out of nowhere ready to aid fellow cyclist.

I wasn't trying to make you feel dumb Vix.

lol. "Carry on" Meaning: "continue doing the illegal/unsafe things you were doing before we ran into each other because of the illegal/unsafe things we were doing and hope it doesn't happen again."

eh. I'd say the cyclist is certainly more at fault than the pedestrian, but both were ok, so whatever
