Best singlespeed chain ? KHE Tanga Light ?

Hello

I'm trying to find a better chain for my single speed.

Is this any good ?

The "drillium" is tempting (and would match my crankset)... but is it stiff ?

And in the 3/32 range ? The claimed weight on the KHE tanga light is like below 250...

I don't think you'll find too many weight weenies on this forum. I could care less what my chain weighs. Maybe try Road Cycling.

All my chainrings are 1/8th. They always have been. All my chains are 1/8.

Next up. Have you even been cranking through an intersection and busted a cheap 3/32 chain? Do you prefer teeth in your mouth?

1/8 straight line. 3/32 variable chainline (geared bikes). 3/32 is just fine btw. See first point.

i have been putting good tension (45/16 or even 52/16 going uphill) over mid-grade chain w/o a problem.... just how common is chain failure ?

i think i'll pick up a KHE tanga light there are good reviews for good tension and lightness (if they're legit)

I've snapped three in my life. Three too many. One resulted in serious injury, the other two just pissed me off.

I'm with the Doc.

Chain failures are usually due to user error but I've snapped 2 chains on BMX, smaller drive train can also snap chains.
