Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

So what kind of cool free stuff did you guys get from EighthInch?

The promo code has long since stopped working and the Fb link is still stuck to the top of the forum, so I'm guessing you all got your stuff by now. Heck it's a free $20.

I got a 15t cog and lockring. Just a cog and lockring, but still very pleased. Even cooler that I got $20 off.

What did all of you good folks get?

I got their bullhorns. I rode them for about a week. I didn't like them very much. I put my drop bars back on.

I guess I should have clicked! I would've loved a free cog and lockring.

The lockring and fixed cog wasn't free. It was about $10 after S&H. It's only a $20 off promo code, not a 100% off promo code.

I got that sample pack for more or less free. I had to buy track grips to make the coupon work, though.

No, definitely not 100% off, lul. I bought a SRAM chain and some other doodads to get the free shipping though, but I believe my total for cog + lockring was like $10 or 12 or something negligible like that. I just said hey, what the heck, might as well get something out of this even though I've never heard of the site in my life.

I'm honored to quote you in my sig, JesusBananas. Sh/t made me lul hard when I saw it.
