Your cog is slipping.
That thing's been on eBay forever. He had it listed as a Bare Knuckle until I e-mailed him and told him it was a Brass Knuckle.
I think he was originally trying to sell it for $450.

That's sad, a quick Google search would have fixed that issue. Were they even 300 new?

That GTB has been been on and off CL for like a year now. Pretty sw8 but too big.
Also, FYI he raised the price by like $150+ since last I saw it posted, making it even harder to sell.

Does anyone know much about Alien Bikes?
https://dallas.craigslist.org/ndf/bik/3381780759.html
I'm actually friends with this guy and he gave me a screaming deal on a scandium/carbon road frame several months ago. He's a good guy and he really does take care of his bikes. I've been wanting to buy a track frame lately since I've just been riding janky conversions for a couple of years. Well, my current conversion is super janky and the others were a bit more respectable.
What little I know about track bikes is just from the lurking I've been doing here. I know this thread is more for showing others deals and not asking if one should buy it themselves, but this seemed the best thread to use.
Edit: Thanks for the help IvyCap, you are quite on point. Also, dumb me I should have just googled before asking, but I guess you guys are used to people not doing that. This forum has a nice thread about Aliens from 09 when a bulk order was placed.

Get it then, you want a new bike.
Keep the frame, headset, and stem, sell the rest.

I was looking at this bike a couple months ago. Frame/fork look great, although I would have sold everything else and didn't want to hassle with trying to get what it's worth from people in Reno. If you got a robust CL market and could flip all the extra stuff it's a good deal. Ended up with a 54 godzilla, still kinda wish I'd gotten a 56 bareknuckle, i just love this color and the purple.
