Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? Yeah, Sillgey definitely uses Maxway frames (which isn't a bad thing).

Scrod, you closed the Lime green thread before I could link you to this:

47cm FBM Sword frame and fork Orgin 8 sealed fixed fixed rear and sealed front with Weinmann dp-18 rims white spokes Redline 31.8 stem Snafu Bull bars Campi headset Orgin 8 front brake Odyssey glow in the dark linear cable Tektro lever alloy seat post Serfas kevlar seat and I think it might have ti rails Truvativ isoflo cranks and vuelta 42t ring (cranks and sprocket have zero miles on them) rear cog is a 17t KMC 410 chain no pedals the bike comes with Ritchey bio max drop bars a set of mtb riser bars and Easton ea50 stem. Most of the marts have around 100 miles on them. the frame and fork look like new except for a scratch on the top tube and scratches on dropouts from axle nuts
It's been on my CL for months, way over priced, and who buys that much Lime green!

I saw your post on FixedVan and stole the pictures to post in the Bike Porn thread.

Completely Restored C40 58cm - New Professional Paint - Only signs of wear are on the chain and Brake levers
Record Carbon 10spd gruppo, with Carbon Record Crank, Colnago Carbon Seatpost , Very lightly used Tufo Sew ups on Perfectly True Reynolds Carbon Wheelset
I bought this bike 10 years ago and really only rode it for 2 years. I got into mountain biking and motocross and just lost interest in the road but couldn't bear to sell it.
This bike looks and rides great. I worked painting custom harleys for about 3 years so I know what I'm doing. I put 2 coats House of Color semi gloss clear coat down, ]sanded that with 1000 grit then applied 3 coats of the PPG red basecoat, sanded that with 1000 grit and then put on 3 more coats of clear. I used a 3m turbine HPLV gun and it looks perfect. The only decal is the badge and it was applied after the paint. The logos are all carbon weave coming through the red basecoat. No smudges,
fingerprints or dust in the paint. I went with the much more expensive HoC semi gloss because it gives the paint job more depth. Looks fantastic! Thanks for looking and good luck!
Must see bike that I have over $9k invested in. You can own the Ferrari Daytona of bikes for less than $3k

There's a guy on Lafayette CL from Marksville who regularly posts what sound like decent bikes (or decent conversion bikes) but he NEVER EVER puts ANY pics. Prices are usually stupid high too. I called, he said "I don't have a camera." Geez. I told him he'd sell way more bikes if the ads had pictures, even thought about offering to come do the photography in exchange for a discount on one of his bikes. Might still see if he's interested one day soon. I get excited every time I see his posts until I see the price and who's selling it. So frustrating!

Very Nice Mens Miyata 512 Competition Japan12sp Racing Bicycle Rare - $369 (marksville)
Mens Black "Puch Odyssey"Racing Bicycle Frame&Fork& many Components - $75 (marksville)
Mens extra nice Univega Supra Sport 12 speed Racing Bicycle rare - $359 (marksville)
Very Tall Schwinn World 10sp Racing Bicycle Strong Steel Built Yrs Ago - $295 (marksville)
Mens Beautiful Metalic Blue Racing Peugeot Bicycle 12sp New Tires - $319 (marksville)
Mens black Peugeot made in France racing bicycle 12sp with 700c wheels - $269 (Marksville)

These are all from the last month or two. Le sigh.

Trek T1 frame and fork 56cm. Frame has been well loved and has numerous paint chips but no dents. Super light ZR9000 alloy frame with carbon fork. This is one of the earlier made in USA frames; the current ones are made in Taiwan. True track geometry. Trek calls this a 56 but in my opinion the fit is closer to a 54. Approx standover with 23mm tires is 31.5". If you are looking for a stiff, light frame, here it is.
If this ad still shows the frame is still available. Send me your phone number if you are interested and I will contact you. Thanks.

I'm kind of tempted, probably could sell my leader frameset for a profit and use that.

I think it'll be too small for me though. But i don't have the longest arms in the world so it may work out.

I don't know. Someone's trying to trade me a Javelin Vigorelli too.
