Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

It's a converted Denali. They are sold at Walmart. It's not a good deal at any price.

^ not exactly, the listed price for the "colnago bike" was $125.
I was at the seller's door within 30min. of the ad posting.
During that time they had received several emails, one offered them $300 sight unseen. I said well I'm here now with $300. I could tell they wanted to bid it up based on the responces, but I got it for $300.

It could be a 722ts, but I'm not convinced.

dude should've sold it for $125 once he had agreed to sell it to you for that and you were the first to show. he didn't even deserve that extra $175.

See the flanges on the head tube and the way the seat tube tapers at the top? It's an older Visp, uh...I mean PCO Custom (sorry evil).

That's how I felt too, but I did not want to start arguing with them (a couple) once they realized their potential windfall, and upped the $ for the bike. I felt lucky that they didn't jack it up more. Another $50 or so I probably would of walked away, even though it still would of been a deal.

Custom Fixed Gear - $1000 (NE Portland)

I am selling my fixed gear bicycle. I built this two years ago and rode it in Portland for a year or so. It's in great shape with only a few small cosmetic scratches from bike lock and top tube wear. This is a slick ride - a head turner for sure. Here are the specs.

Mercier Kilo TT Frame Size 56 (completely unmarked - original electric blue paint job)
Sugino Messenger Track Chainring 46 x 130mm 1/2" x 1/8" Black
Velocity Deep V Non-Machined Rims 700c x 32h - Black
Soma Somax Track Front Hubs 100mm x 32h Silver
Soma Somax Track Rear Hubs 120mm x 32h Silver
DT Swiss Champion Spokes 2.0mm Black
Sugino Messenger Crankarm Set - 165.0mm x Silver Anodized
Surly Track Cogs 1/8 Inch x 17t
KMC K710 Chain Silver
Salsa MotoAce SUL Stem 90mm x 115 deg x 31.8 Clamp
Shimano Dura Ace Steel Track Lockring
Soma Everwear Road Tires 700 x 23 Black/Black
MKS Sylvan Track Pedals Silver
Brooks B17 Standard Saddle Black
Soma Oppy XX Quad Gate Toe Clips Medium Silver
Toshi DeLuxe Double Toe Straps Black

Although the photos show a front brake, this bike was rarely ridden with a front brake. The front wheel shows no brake wear. While pictured with track drops, the bike currently has risers.

I have loved this bike and hate to let it go. Please contact me with questions. Thanks.

So does resale go up if you have ridden an item for more than one year?

Looks just like cannondale track blue. Closest I could find was "blue metal" but it wasn't a stripper. Maybe a discontinued color?
