Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

This is a brand new Bare Knuckle Track frame and fork (uncut). Great fixed gear frame for track or recreational use. The frame was shipped to me with a c=scratch in the paint (photo). The manufacturer sent me a new one and did not want the old one back. You will not find a brand new Bare Knuckle frame for $200.

Thought about it, but I don't have an extra $200 on hand at the moment. That's why I posted it here

I know there aren't many Champaign-Urbanites on the board, but there is a guy selling a 2010 56cm Steamroller complete with bullhorns in "perfect condition" for $360.

It won't fit me, but would it be worth flipping?

It would most likely be worth more parting it out.

Yea, there aren't many of us. There's also The LT, gaozilla, and klaw.

I offered the guy $300, but I don't expect him to bite.

Pretty good deal. Vertical dropouts means finding another magic ratio if you ever want to change gearing though.

Yeah. This will probably come to Boston with me, so I think the ratio should be ok.
