Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? You're doing it wrong, though. You're supposed to buy it first, then ask questions.

https://lasvegas.craigslist.org/bik/3450080410.html

so i posted this back a page or two and talked to the guy and it is my size and from the pictures it looks in good shape so id like to check it out and get it as temp transportation. What i would like to know is what its worth? im sure i could get it for 200 but should i shoot a little lower first? i dont know much at all about bikes or raleighs either. i really need a bike right now and this one among a few others have come up along with a centurion which ive gotten to reply about.

any help would be appreciated.

Post it to this forum and you are liable to get a wider range of more informed results. Not that the people here are unreliable but it doesn't make sense to ask for the value of a road bike on the fgss forum.

I'm a size 43. My last size 44s were too big but I've been riding with them for about a year.

Yup, those won't fit.

I'm almost tempted to just drop $200 on a new pair.
