Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

FWIW, it is considered bad form to publicize an auction that is not your own. If you are the seller, it is understandable that you want to draw more eyeballs to the listing. But if it is not ours, we generally avoid posting about it until it is done because it is not fair to the guys who already know about the auction to increase the competition they have to bid against by posting about it on a forum.

I know they're removable and all, but... LOL at those decals. I thought Origin8 was pretty up-to-date on what's "cool." Maybe I'm the one out of the loop.

Besides that it's just bad form to post auctions like this for the reasons already stated.....

It is completely pointless to post about an auction deal on eBay a day before the auction ends. If you've ever used eBay before, you know that on desirable items, the price will jump 100-500% in the last ten minutes.
In other words, it's not a "deal" until the auction is over.

I would hardly consider that wheelset a desirable item.

Dude, you just joined the forum some time in the last 13 days, you rattled off 112 posts real quick like...maybe you should just sit back for a little while and see how people operate and get a flow for the place before you come in and start insulting everyone. You could have just replied with, "sorry guys, didn't realize anyone would be upset by posting an ebay link," but no, you've got to get all offended and defensive and start rattling off all kind of justifications and arguments and finally just straight up insults. Oh well.
