Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I agree. 1800 would be close to the price you'd pay if you bought the frame for like 600-800 and then bought all the parts brand new. The frame should be fine since its a 90's model though.

there have been very similarly worded ads for hubs and such on craigslist philly, i think that thing is filled with bored bike shop employees(actually i know, my younger brother keeps buying bikes from the same bored bikeshop employee off of craigslsit), build up a sweet ride at employee prices and dump it for a slight profit (or atleast maybe no lose) when you're looking for a new project, not a bad way to kill boredom honestly
