Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

A lot of them have super low crotches - great for snagging on the nose of your saddle. Avoid relaxed fit, for sure.

i love dickies pants and shorts....cheap, reliable, look good, rugged.

i am of the 13 inch regular fit persuasion.
although i have some of the 17 inch shorts and like them as well.

Dickies shorts are too damn baggy. Get the pants and cut them. I prefer Red Kap work pants over Dickies.

I'm a big fan of shorts with pockets, the more the better. Anything to avoid ever strapping a back pack on or a bike frame or seat bag.
