Kilo TT and All City 612 Crank questions from a noob!!!!!

Guys, i bought my Kilo TT and some All City Cranks just to find out that they dont fit together, please tell me what bottom bracket specs I can use to make this work, being that the All City say they take a 110mm square taper and the bike says it uses a 108, do I have some leeway as far as the lenght of the fittings or no?

Thanks in advance!

The required spindle length is based on the crank and has nothing to do with the bike frame. You'll need a new BB with a 110mm square taper spindle to use the All City Cranks. The SRAM/Truvative BB has a somewhat uncommon interface.

Call your LBS this is the kind of thing they might have in a box somewhere and could be a cheap purchase for you--and if you don't have the right tools, you'll need their help anyway.

Thanks! Now I understand...Its all about the placement of the chainring to the rear wheel, its that correct? Its about achiving a straight chain line more than anything else?

So is it 100 % necessary that I run a 110, or could a 108 or a 112 work? I ask in case the bike shop doesnt have the 110 in stock.

You need to get a Square taper JIS bottom bracket. Straight chain is important but not that much if you dont even have the compatible BB. Go to your LBS, ask them to take out your current powerspline bb and put in a new JIS one.
