Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? "The Stevens," but my girlfriend insists on calling it "Steve," (and competing with it for attention).

The single speeds are "the red one," "the black one" and the "ice bike."

Thank you for giving me an idea of what my white bike would look like with black upgrades.
I thought about making it all white (because my CAAD9 will be all black), but damn...I like the Black & White combo.
I was trying to picture it in my head and thought it would look nice, but now I KNOW it will look hot.

It'll be either B&W or I was also thinking about choosing every color in the book for my components
(gold, red, blue, green, etc...) to have a "different" bike...kind of letting the white frame be a canvas
and the components being the paint.

This looks about "right" for my Lager...

To be honest, I've never named a bike before. A friend once asked me what my bikes name was and I teased her mercilessly for days for thinking that people actually named their bikes. Now I have a couple of friends with named bikes and some of the people I respect most on here seem to have named their bikes. Hmm.. Maybe there's something to this naming business.
