Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I can help facilitate the deal if anyone is interested and he won't ship. I'd rather this bike go to someone who really appreciates it...

So is this bike the same as the rentals at the Superdrome? I know those have Sugino 75 cranks on them. The only problem we've had with them is that the aluminum track ends don't have steel inserts, and the dropouts get badly torn up when the track nuts are tightened.

every now and then you'll see one on the local craigslist completer w/ 75's for ~$300 or so...
the superdrome tends to clear 'em out every couple of years.
