Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

As goofy as paired spoke technology is, those ^ look really cool.

they look so good. i think thats gonna be my next wheelset for the road and track. theyre windtunnel tests are out of control on their road wheels. im sure theyre the same with the track set. looks like they are on the rebound. Christmas present? =D

Oh! Crap. For a moment there, due to the low flanges, I thought that was an eccentric front hub.

I can't get over Rolf's spoking. I can't see a reason other than having a recognizable image for that spoking - and I can think of some detrimental effects, namely having to overbuild the rim in that vast space between pairs. Silly.

they're actually very light. they run high spoke tension thats the only reason people dont really like them. theyre also very aero due to low spoke count
